This project is a departure from the concept of STOCK's original items up until now, and is devoted to "making what we want to make without compromise." The base is a pair of vintage trousers made of high-quality fabric from a certain maison brand that our director regularly wears. Inspired by a unique design reminiscent of a 90's DC brand, we pursued an exquisite silhouette that is easy to wear yet sophisticated, relaxed yet elegant, and "unusual." As with the previous project, we focused most on fabric creation, which we discussed closely with a domestic fabric factory and took the time to revise the completed sample to get closer to the fabric quality we had in mind. The reverse twill wool gabardine fabric, created from scratch, has a plump firmness, elegant smoothness, and a delicate twillness that rivals that of maison brands. These are the ultimate basic pants in our opinion.
The deep single pleat relaxed silhouette is tapered just enough for a comfortable yet stylish silhouette.
The thin, smooth fabric is made by weaving fine wool yarn as finely as possible and then pressing it, which reduces even the slightest bit of pilling and gives it a glossy, elegant appearance.
The waist is easy to wear with a drawstring.
The button fly features luxurious horn buttons, and the drawstrings are made of round cotton cords in colors that match the colors of each fabric, resulting in a carefully crafted finish.
