SUBLATIONS is a unisex brand launched in 2020 by director Taisei Kanayama and designer Yasutaka Nakamura. SUBLATION means "the negation of negation, fusing opposing elements to create a higher level of development." Opposing, sometimes contradictory styles, details and moods such as male and female, dress and military are expressed as fashion through the director and designer's filter. Utilizing Nakamura's experience of cultivating sewing and production know-how at tailors and denim manufacturers in Ginza, the brand produces high-quality products that are committed to production in domestic factories.
