XENIA TELUNTS is a British unisex brand founded in 2017. They explore sustainability through zero waste technology when cutting patterns, natural dyes, reuse of fabrics, and the use of organic fabrics. Their designs are based on workwear, with the concept that clothes should not be made to meet short-term needs, but should be designed with great care, with the hope that they will be passed down from generation to generation and enjoyed for a long time. All items are designed by XENIA herself in North Yorkshire, and their knitwear in particular is hand-knitted by a hand knitting team in Grimsby, UK, using organic wool, British wool, indigo dyed and undyed natural materials.
This piece features an all-over pattern that is sure to catch your eye.
The pattern, inspired by the kimono, faithfully reproduces the original details of a kimono, such as wide dropped shoulders, ample width in the body and arms, and a front opening that is tied with a string.
The two pockets on the front are a nice feature that kimonos don't have.
The light, dry-to-the-touch cotton fabric is of just the right thickness, making it comfortable to wear.
This is a one-of-a-kind piece that perfectly combines Japanese elements with an all-over pattern.
