SUBLATIONS is a unisex brand launched in 2020 by director Taisei Kanayama and designer Taiki Nakamura. SUBLATION means "the sublation of negation, the fusion of conflicting elements to create a higher development." Through the filters of the director and designer, conflicting and sometimes contradictory or opposing styles, details, and moods, such as male and female, dress and military, are expressed as fashion. Utilizing Mr. Nakamura's experience cultivated through sewing and production know-how at a Ginza tailor and a denim manufacturer, the brand produces high-quality products with a commitment to domestic manufacturing.
