Description

This project was based on the idea of ​​"making what we want to make without compromise," getting rid of all the concepts of STOCK's original items up until now. The idea was based on a vintage work shirt from a certain maison brand that our director regularly wears. The fabric we focused on this time was carefully crafted with a domestic fabric factory, and we took the time to revise the completed sample to get closer to the fabric quality we imagined. The reverse twill wool gabardine fabric we created from scratch has a plump, firm feel, elegant smoothness, and delicate twillness that is comparable to maison brands. The key to making the shirt was how to incorporate our original fabric, which has an elegant luster and drape that is the polar opposite of work, into the design while taking advantage of the atmosphere unique to the original work shirt. It's not too work-like, but it's not too classy either, so we adjusted the details one by one while searching for the perfect balance. We have completed our ultimate classic shirt, which has an unpretentious atmosphere but is somehow sophisticated.
