"08 SIRCUS" is a domestic brand launched in the Spring/Summer 2010 season by Kiyonori Morishita. The brand name is a portmanteau of "Sir," one of the honorary titles in the British honors system, and "Customer." The "08" at the beginning inherits the "bee" motif that has been used since his previous brand, "kiminori morishita." The brand concept is to propose new clothing that is a little ahead of its time with a real sensibility, pursuing functional beauty within the highest quality that one truly wants to wear, shifting focus away from overt luxury. As Morishita states, "Quality and comfort are prerequisites," "We use Japanese materials and prioritize lightness," and "We want to continue creating the best."
