SUBLATIONS is a unisex brand launched in 2020 by director Taisei Kanayama and designer Yasutaka Nakamura. SUBLATION means "the negation of negation, fusing opposing elements to create a higher level of development." Opposing, sometimes contradictory styles, details and moods such as male and female, dress and military are expressed as fashion through the director and designer's filter. Utilizing the experience of Nakamura, who cultivated sewing and production know-how at a tailor and denim manufacturer in Ginza, the brand produces high-quality products that are committed to production in domestic factories.

The fabric on the back is a geometric pattern fabric made by hand from handmade Japanese paper, specially ordered from a long-established fabric manufacturer in Kyoto.

When you tighten the waist belt, the fabric on the back floats up, creating a soft silhouette that lets light through.
