AMIACALVA is a bag brand launched by designer Kazuhiro Kato in 2010. Inspired by the ancient fish "AMIACALVA," which has been traveling for millions of years without evolving its appearance, the brand develops products that pursue perfection (design) and adaptability (functionality). The designer himself worked in planning and sales at a bag manufacturer, but was unable to create the items he wanted because of the division of labor. This led to the designer himself being in charge of the entire production process, including design, fabric selection, cutting, and sewing.
"ARTIFICIAL FIBER" is a new series that focuses more on functionality than the brand's standard series.
It has a casual yet smart look and is highly convenient with a total of five pockets.
It is made of tightly twisted gabardine material, which is lightweight, strong, and has an elegant luster and moderate shape memory.
The webbing tape is woven at a high density, feels good to the touch, and the length can be adjusted.
The Tochigi leather attached to the side changes over time with use.
The buttons are plated in matte black to match the body, giving it a unified, one-tone look that can be used with any style.
