"08 SIRCUS" is a domestic brand launched in the Spring/Summer 2010 season by Kiminori Morishita. The brand name is a portmanteau of "Sir," one of the honors in the British honors system, and "Customer." The "08" preceding the name is a continuation of the "bee" motif that has been used since the days of his previous brand, "kiminori morishita." The brand concept is to propose new clothing that is a little ahead of its time, pursuing functional beauty within the highest quality garments that the designer genuinely wants to wear, shifting the focus from overt luxury to a more realistic sensibility.
