- *Our vintage gold jewelry is purchased in NY, so it typically bears an "ato K" hallmark. All products are inspected with an X-ray metal component analysis device to confirm that the purity is equal to or higher than indicated by the hallmark.
- *"K" stands for Karat, representing the purity of gold as a weight ratio in 24 parts. The closer the number is to 24, the higher the purity of the gold. (K24 is almost pure gold with 99.99% purity). While higher purity increases the value of gold, it also makes it softer and more susceptible to scratches, making it unsuitable for jewelry processing.
