COMMON PROJECTS is a collaboration brand between New York-based art director Prathan Poopat and Italy-based creative director Flavio Girolami. The brand was launched in the winter of 2004 by combining the two men's backgrounds in graphic design. Inspired by objects that catch their eye in everyday life, the brand develops practical yet luxurious footwear with a minimalist theme. All products are produced in carefully selected factories in Italy, and are of a quality that is in no way inferior to high-end sneakers. Each piece of footwear is produced using high-quality materials and a highly refined process, and is also characterized by the item number, color number, and size engraved in gold on it.
