BODE is a New York men's brand founded in June 2016 by Atlanta-born designer Emily Adams Bode. Based on the concept of "respecting the beauty of handicrafts and giving them new life," BODE creates one-of-a-kind handmade items using various vintage fabrics such as tablecloths, burlap bags, Victorian-style bedsheets, and antique quilts made over 100 years ago, with the outstanding skills of New York artisans. The classic and eye-catching designs and boxy silhouette workwear created from a wide variety of nostalgic fabrics are a masterpiece that attracts many editors and fashionistas. In 2019, the CFDA Award (Council of Fashion Designers of America), which recognizes the most active fashion designers in the United States, was the first woman to be selected as Emerging Designer of the Year, a new award that is said to be the gateway to becoming a designer, making it a brand that is attracting a lot of attention.
